San Felipe Creek

Del Rio is an oasis in the middle of the desert and its water source is the San Felipe Springs which forms San Felipe Creek which flows through Del Rio and on to the Rio Grande. Over the years many canals have been dug though out the city for irrigation. The water is pure to drink from the spring and also supplies the water source to our Laughlin AFB. We have built parks along the San Felipe Creek with walking paths. Taken 08/08/2016. Watch the meteor shower tonight and tomorrow.
