Poignant

While wandering some old cemeteries looking for something appropriate for this theme, I was struck most by the little things that people left on the graves as a very personal remembrance of the loved one. The items ranged from sad to funny, from sober to quirky. The little broken doll on this infant's grave gave me pause, and I wondered if it could have been there all these years. For the PG101 churches and graveyards theme.

Hauntingly spiritual is the word that crops up in my head, Mitch! Excellent! Great capture of the doll, reflecting the sadness and brokenness probably felt by whoever put it there. Happy Theme Day! #11496327Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
