Description

During a vacation at a resort in the NY Catskill Mountains, a weekly beauty contest was held by the pool. All male guests were invited to enter; female guests aided the men in getting costumed.

My dad entered as did several of his friends. At nineteen, I sevred as the official photographer. I took this, my first ever "model shot," of the winner who graciously posed for me during "her" entry. Since this picture was taken in 1969 or 1970, no exposed data was reported.

That being said, this image has been widely praised during many presentations of a educational slide show on "Portraits."
