Cottonwood Tree at the End of the Street
Uploaded: May 07, 2016 | Entered: May 07, 2016 16:10:09
Photo shot in late afternoon in January 2009. Cottonwoods are on of my favorite trees to shoot, because they have a lot of character. I mainly liked the way the light was falling on this one.

I have a soft spot on pictures with trees. This one is really beautiful, and you said well, with character. Great image, Cary! #1657347Patrick Rouzes May 08, 2016
I like the light too, Cary, and I agree about the cottonwood having character. Beautiful shot. #11471898Cary Rogers May 08, 2016
Marijana and Patrick, thank you for your great comments! I have tons of cottonwood tree photos, because I like the way their thick bark textures look in low-angle light...and their branches often seem to have a mind of their own!. Thanks again for your comments! #11471931Susan M. Campbell May 08, 2016

Hi Susan, thanks for leaving me your comment. I especially like shooting "naked" trees in winter. #11472113Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
