Description

This was the first and last time my dad and I will go to Sanders Preserve. The woods looked dead, I could not take a wide angle shot anywhere. The walk to the 4' cascade was long and tedious. I didn't think we would ever get there and then there was no 4' cascade. People like to call that a waterfall… I call it a cascade. Not sure if it was just because lack of water but I don't see where one could have been. The walk back was worse, mostly uphill. I tore a calf muscle last Oct so now Im feeling that issue again. I can only image how my dad felt. Never again!

To bad you didn't enjoy your time out but you still got a beautiful close-up of pretty cascade. Hoping tomorrow for a day hiking and photographing if the weather permits. #1656228

Ab excellent forest scene and capture Wendy! I am sorry to hear about your misfortunes, but it sounds like you overdosed on a healthy hike! #11466727
