Description

The story told to us was that this was bought at a private sale. The seller thought that it was pewter, but the buyer recognized the sculptors signature and snapped it up. They took it home, cleaned it up and it turned out to be 99.99% pure silver. The sculptor who made this is Gutzon Borglum most famously known for sculpting Mt. Rushmore.
