Calf tie down

Calf tie down is another of the features at our rodeo. I try to get at least two captures of each contestant when they pick the calf up like this one and when they spread their arm and let the tied calf loose to see if it can get away.

Great action shot, Emile but I feel bad for the calf. LOL #11427257Val Feldman January 26, 2016
Wow! Never heard of a calf tie-down before. It all has to happen very quickly and with a lot of expertise by the contestant - and the photographer, too! :) Like Tammy, gotta feel sorry for the "little" fella who's probably wondering just what the heck is happening here!! #11427289Joannie Bertucci January 26, 2016
