DANCE OF THE FLYERS I

It is an ancient Mesoamerican ceremony still performed today. The ritual consists of dance and the climbing of a 30 meters pole from which four of the five participants then launch themselves tied with a rope to descend to the ground.Taken mid afternoon. ISO 100. f/6.3, 1/400. Zoom lens at 185 mm.
