Teaching survival
Uploaded: November 03, 2015
This mother Polar bear was teaching her cub one of the survival skill on the tundra. They have yet to get to the edge of the frozen Hudson Bay where the seals live and are their main food source. Until they get there they must find any food they can and here they are digging up seaweed to eat. To keep the snow and tundra white I shot with +1ev and used cloudy white balance, ISO 400, f/8 & 1/640.
Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 1.00, ExposureTime: 1/640 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 300.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 20D
