Tundra buggy

This is one of the tundra buggies that photographers went out in. We lived in a tundra buggy lodge that had sleepers, lounge, kitchen and storage. We would go out each 8 AM in these tundra buggies and back to the lodge about 5PM. You can see the windows drop down and we had an open porch out back so we did not have to shoot through glass. Spent 2 weeks out there in temp down to 29 below zero. Burr!!

Actually on the 5th day we broke an axle and could not move the tundra lodge for 8 hours. #11394871Nancy L. Green November 03, 2015

That is cold, but you have to go where they are so its off you go in one of these tundras. How the miseries you encounter are well worth it to get such gorgeous pictures like this. Gorgeous look and work Emile. #11394893Emile Abbott November 04, 2015
