Lunar Dreams

Waiting for the eclipsed moon to rise at Inspiration Point in Berkeley, we were treated to a colorful reverse sunset. The moon should have risen right over Mt Diablo but was instead obscured by low clouds until quite high in the sky. I added the moon from another shot and enhanced colors to make the low clouds look more like clear sky.

Beautiful evening image, Martha...and fantastic DD work!! We had the same problem the night of the eclipse....so cloudy and hazy we missed most of it! #11384653Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
