Sojha Villagers

Sojha is a remote mountain village in the state of Himachal in India. The place, as I found out to my delight does not have many tourist hotels, lodges etc. and didn’t see any except the ‘one’ where I stayed and this picture was taken from which is nothing but few local traditional huts/cottages put together and converted into a sort of hotel and so the place has not lost the look and feel of a typical charming mountain village devoid of commercial activities and influx of tourists. The women seen here are bringing Vegetable supply to the hotel directly from their fields on the mountain slope.

Super story image Ujjwal! POV brings the man right toward me, the mountains are gorgeous, and the building brings a sense of other people. Wonderful! Ann #11334487John Connolly July 21, 2015

Everyone should visit an "unspoiled" place like this at least once in his/her life, Ujjwal, to appreciate what they have "back home"...You've captured so much in this single shot, from the beautiful mountain background to the colors and textures of the village. Wonderful work and image! #11334599Amalia Sylvia Arriaga Salinas July 24, 2015
