Mission Possible

An older image that I scanned the negative and processed with PS - Aerial refueling an F-16B test aircraft, from a KC-135 tanker, over the Mojave Desert in Southern California. (It can be challenging laying down and shooting through a plexiglass window during the refueling operation - Normal vibration from the aft section of the aircraft + airspeed + the receiving aircraft is buffeting from the turbulence created/generated from the tanker) -

A favorite for me Jeff. First of all just the uniqueness of the picture and the look over the desert. Another reason is the excitement of being able to look into the planes cockpit and see the pilots. Then there is the colors and the details of the plane plus the texture of earth.Lighting is incredible. I loved reading about what you had to do to get this picture and seeing the beautiful results. Awesome in every way my friend. #11333173Lindley Johnson July 18, 2015

What a splendid capture. My wife bought me a skydiving adventure for my birthday. 10,000 ft. Took a long time to get to that height but the jump was worth it. I wish I had taken a camera along. Well done Jeff! #11339226Jeff Robinson July 31, 2015
