This is a view of Philadelphia's Independence Hall, from a grassy area in Independence Mall. The Liberty Bell is housed in the building in the righthand foreground. Tomorrow Philadelphia will end a week of festivities with a gigantic "Block Party."

Oh, thanks for posting this today. Lets me remember the one time I got to see this area. Many years ago and on a business trip, so little time to photograph it then. I'm remembering that the Liberty Bell was, at that time, right in front of Independence Hall. Is that right? #1622931Michelle Alton July 03, 2015
Well, Mitch...it wasn't always where it is now. But I have never seen it anywhere else! Or at least I have no memory of having seen it elsewhere. Must look it up. #11326759Jeff Sielski July 03, 2015

Oh my, how I do hope this piece goes further within this process. If not, trust that is not only a true 'study' of what our forefathers intended, but an excellent display of talent. #11332592Emile Abbott July 18, 2015 1
