Baby Red river Hog

Uploaded: June 11, 2015 | Entered: June 11, 2015 13:02:07

Description

Like many pig species, baby red river hogs are born with distinct longitudinal stripes that fade as they mature.
Their large ears with white tassels and the erect mane that runs the length of their body serve to make the red river hog look larger and more intimidating when confronted by a predator.
Red river hogs are good swimmers - they can even dive and swim short distances underwater.

Added to my favorites Kathy as I find the quality of the work here to be Nat Geo perfect. I love the post, the way that log serves as a framing border on the bottom. Buts its those amazing and beautiful features and colors of the pic that stand out so brilliantly. Exceptional work Kathy. #11316841
