Mandarins are one of the few duck species which are not hunted for food - apparently they taste really bad!

Well I'm glad that they taste bad because beauty like this should not be destroyed. What a gorgeous bird it is, those different colors and those features are a delight to enjoy. This is the only shooting that should go on for it. Love it Kathy. #11297287
