The Hughes House, built in 1898, is located in Cape Blanco State Park on the southern Oregon Coast. The house is now open to the public and is as close to period as possible. The Hughes family worked a dairy for approximately 20 years while living in this house. Mr. Hughes and several of his sons also worked the Cape Blanco Light House as well.
Sorry I've been away. After losing mom and dealing with the aftermath, I just reached a point that I had to get away for a couple of weeks. The Oregon Coast was lovely!!

Teresa, I meant to comment early Sunday on this fine capture and your very appropriate sepia tint, but I was "tied up" (and needing sleep), getting ready for the Garden Show yesterday...Teresa Burnett April 27, 2015
