Southern Lights

Description

Been away for a few weeks and it's good to be back. My husband and I went to the edge of the everglades, one of my favorite spots for photographing the sunset. After the sun set below the horizon, most of the photographers who there packed up and left. Since this is my favorite time to photograph, we stayed. And, look what happened! Sigh. It reminded me of the northern lights - Florida's version.

I agree Carol, this is so gorgeous and certainly worth the wait. This is a capture one would always come back to and stare at. Maybe someday, I'll get to visit the Everglades. My brother lives in Kissimee but is no where near the place I guess. #11271414

Thanks so much! Reynaldo, Kissimmee is near the northern everglades...Shingle Creek in Kissimmee is part of the waters that are the headwater of the Everglades. #11271645

Yes, I too find that the afterglow light is just beautiful, Carol, and this sure was worth the wait! The colours are just divine! #11271768
