He is of impressive size - we have this problem too with snakes in the wildflowers - Great capture Linda! Your image certainly is a lesson in situational awareness! #1610863Michelle Alton March 14, 2015
WHOA! Wildflowers are beautiful, but can truly be treacherous. I once put my hand into the center of a cluster of beautiful little wildflowers down by the pond and was attacked, chased, and stung repeatedly on my neck, hands, and arms, by an angry swarm of tiny wasps. I was a mess for weeks. This is a great photo. I hope he rattled loudly when you approached. #11265419JO ANN CLEVELAND March 14, 2015
It is hard for me to even comment because snakes scare me sooo much, but your capture and presentation really is great! #11265431Jeff Sielski March 15, 2015
