Self Portrait in B&W

Description

Self Portrait. My dad taught me photography and made it such a cool special thing. He has been gone for over a year now. I miss him. I took this picture shortly after he passed as a tribute to him because he knew that I loved photography and cars. It was not an easy thing to do...but I'm glad now that I pulled over and got all my gear out of my trunk as I drove home from the hospital and set it up and captured that instant in time. This is a picture of how I felt at that time. Thinking of the loss of my dad and taking a picture.

Exif: F Number: 16, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/40 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 100, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 12.00 mm, Model: NIKON D300

Such honesty behind this self-portrait, Todd...the B&W works so well to convey the emotion behind the image! #1608242
