Trey Benton on Outside the Box

This is Trey Benton on Outside the Box on his winning ride scoring a 90 points to become the 3rd only rider to win back to back GPM championships. This bull had never been ridden for 8 seconds before and was the bull Trey drew in his attempt to be the CBR champion in 2014 in Cheyenne. He lasted 3.5 sec and had to settle for second place in CBR last year. At that time he vowed if he ever drew that bull again he would ride him the full 8 sec. He again drew Outside the Box the bull that had never been ridden but this time Trey made good on his promise. Note his spurs are in solid, he has great balance and extreme strength of grip all necessary for a successful ride. He was only 22 years old. Also note I had to shoot directly into the bright video light all during the event.
