This is a scene from the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
You have to be tough to survive in Australia. I am amazed at the places trees find to grow.
The solid sandstone rock below the lookout, has a mini forest of gum trees happily growing there.
I don’t think I could get a seed to germinate there, let alone grow that big.
