Description

This is a scene from the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.
You have to be tough to survive in Australia. I am amazed at the places trees find to grow.
The solid sandstone rock below the lookout, has a mini forest of gum trees happily growing there.
I don’t think I could get a seed to germinate there, let alone grow that big.

What a beautiful view, John! Fantastic capture!
I saw huge fires on TV, I hope it is far from you and that you are safe. I also hope that people will win in this fight with nature. #11218917

Thanks Marijana! The fires are over 1000 Km from us, but we feel for these poor people, we have been through that experience ourselves! #11219419
