Nothing could make him smile
Uploaded: December 29, 2014 | Entered: December 29, 2014 04:32:22
His dad tried for about five minutes to get this boy to smile, but all of his attempts were futile.
Photographed at the Children's Holiday Party thrown by the Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of the American Red Cross. All the invited kids had experienced a house fire in 2014. Elves were seen wrapping gifts for a couple of weeks before the event. It was the most fun such party that I've photographed over the past three years. Note: All the photos from this event were taken with flash.

What an adorable little guy! His expression is more charming and engaging than a smile would have been, and you've captured it beautifully! I love just the slight hint of colour in this almost monochrome treatment. #11215786Barbara Waldoch January 01, 2015
