Convent Vaulting

While visiting a rooftop cafe at a public library, housed within a former convent, I came across this switchback stairwell with a wonderfully vaulted ceiling. Just the lines of the vaulting ridges, and a coating of plain plaster. I took this from the middle landing, as the staircase turned down to the final flight.
