Thanks, Colette and Ed. Hopefully it will pick up an EP in a second pass through. #11181073Chris Budny November 21, 2014
Certainly one for a resubmit, if October results end with nothing further on this. It's wonderful; I love the light on the clouds, and making that bright reflection on one side of the lighthouse glass. #11192911Harriet Feagin November 21, 2014
Thanks, Chris. I appreciate your comments very much. #11192940Nikki McDonald November 21, 2014
Very lovely light and I always enjoy and appreciate a lighthouse portrait with plenty of the context that justifies its presence - the waves breaking on the rocks are very impressive. Good luck on your favorite. #11192946Harriet Feagin November 22, 2014
Thanks, Nikki. And likewise with your favorite #11193067Joannie Bertucci November 22, 2014
Harriet, I saw this on the forum and I had to come tell you, this is my all time favorite lighthouse! Portland Headlight Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses and yours is one amazing capture of it! The light being highlighted takes this one to be a winner! You have the best composition and lighting! Sometimes the judges are just plain wrong! Love it! #11193298Harriet Feagin November 22, 2014
Joannie, you made my day. What kind words! I have been going through some of the entries in the different categories and I just do not know what to think. Some wonderful photos have been overlooked. Thanks again for your encouragement. #11193300Monnie Ryan November 24, 2014
Definitely Portland Head (Cape Elizabeth is not far south of it and not nearly as impressive). Love this whole complex and you've got a gorgeous photo of it all! #11194514Harriet Feagin November 25, 2014
