Super Moon

Two photo's blended together. One exposure for the moon, one for the clouds. Never could get a good exposure of both in one shot because I have no idea how to do that. lol We had just had a storm pass through and clouds still thick (a weird color too) so I had to wait until there was a small break in the clouds. The lightning was pretty fierce but it was way off in the distance.

Wow! Outstanding capture!!! #1586349Ken Smith September 10, 2014
Dayna, it's virtually impossible to expose on the moon, and retain exposure on the foreground..so, don't despair! :-) This turned out perfect!Dayna Cain September 10, 2014
Ken, I finally figured that out. If I got a good exposure on the clouds the moon was blown out. If I got a good exposure on the moon the clouds didn't show up so I did what I had to do. Use two pics. lol #11130547John Rivera September 10, 2014
