Description

My take on the amazingly beautiful and often photographed Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. Shot this during a recent trip to the park from the boardwalk (while wishing I had a ladder to get a higher perspective).

Pretty capture and colors, Rick. To get a view of the Prismatic Spring from above you can take the Fairy Falls trail about a half mile then cut up the hill until you get a good view from there. We were there first part of July and did that. There is a picture I took of it from above in with the July finalists or in my gallery. #1585256

Thanks Tammy. Didn't have a camera with a long enough lens to work from distance. Saw people across the road from the spring on Midway Bluff getting a higher vantage point also. #11125254
