Mother and Cub
Uploaded: August 21, 2014 | Entered: August 21, 2014 13:07:23
In this capture notice how the mother keeps the cub slightly behind her as they travel across the tundra. Also notice how her nose is up and forward. Polar bears can smell up to 60 mile away with their special nasal configuration. She can smell other bears as well as possible food or other dangers. The cubs biggest danger is from other hungry bears.
