Teaching her cub survival

Description

On the tundra in the wild there are many lessons the mother polar bear must teach her cub for survival. Here she is teaching her cub to dig for seaweed to eat until they can get to Hudson Bay and hunt for seals their primary diet. It has been a while since I have uploaded Polar Bear captures from my 2 week excursion on the Hudson Bay living with them in the movable Tundra Lodge and Tundra Buggies. Enjoy my series on Polar Bear Personalities. All were taken in Nov. 2006.

Such a wonderful wildlife capture and I am sure that trip was spectacular too. Just where all wild animals belong in their natural habitat. I am not a fan of zoos. #1583658

Superb series so far of your bears, Emile! The Polar Bear is such a huge bear, and your story enables the reader to learn something about their habitat whilst not near the ocean. #11112746
