Description

The stained feathers on the cockatoo are from the sap of the eucalypt. The cockatoos constantly break small branches off with their beaks, leaking the fluid all over themselves.

He sure looks happy and I have never seen the inner feathers of these pretty birds before this capture. This is such a unique image and to my shock you even have another one of a different color also spreading his wings that I see in your gallery! Amazing timing on both!
