On Wednesday (day and night) a plague of rain and wind (NO TORNADOES was a BLESSING) in Southeastern Pennylvania. Rain came down in huge sheets for nearly 24 hours, making the ground very soggy as more than six inches fell. Sustained winds of 15 to 20 MPH gusting to 40 threatened to take trees down on our property, as well as our neighbors'. I was certain I'd wake up to a big mess.
----
The neighbors are on vacation somewhere on the Mediterranean, so I was watching things for them. Amazed that all I saw at home was a small rotten tree branch, splattered on the driveway. There were no trees down next door either--at least not THIS time. But her tulip garden took a beating--most of the fresh blossoms were trounced into the mud.

EXCEPT for this one!

Very pretty, with a moody, sad quality. Kind of eery and lonely... #11052178Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
