Feeling A Little Down Tonight

Description

*****
After grocery shopping yesterday, I got home and discovered my purse was gone...with my camera in it...
How it happened isn't important(my fault). The result is what matters. Sigh. I'll be posting from the archives for awhile.

I know how sick this must make you feel. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your purse and all the important things such as ID and other important cards. As we are all photographers, we feel your loss to of your camera. Wish there was something we could do.
In the meantime, you will be working out of your archive and this gorgeous floral is a beautiful way to start it off. Love the framing, superb lighting, and especially that stunning yellow, so bold. A real beauty dear friend. You take care dear friend, hope things will get turned around for you. #11018099

Thanks very much for commenting, Jeff, Tammy, Gord, Tiia, John, and Frank. I appreciate it.
Frank, you summed things up neatly. I have to remind myself that things could have been worse. And Scott has already said we'll be buying another camera soon. So, as Gloria Gaynor sang, "I will survive!"

Debbie, Joy, Kiki, Bobby, Jill, Ellen, Nadia, and Barbara ~ I really appreciate your kind and friendly comments. Thanks very much!
Kiki, I had very little cash and only one credit card, so that was a small relief. Scott took care of cancelling the card and calling the police station, in case anyone turned it in. No one has... Oh, well.
Jill, I was to blame for losing the purse. I had too many bags in my hands, so I put my purse on the car roof "temporarily". Now it's permanently gone. Bummer, indeed.
Ellen, thanks for the prayer to St. Anthony ---I did the same that night. Next step: a prayer to St. Jude ~ patron of lost causes!! At least I haven't lost my sense of humor!
