Description

Photographed in the Coyote Buttes region of the Paria wilderness on the Utah-Arizona border with a Nikon D100 and Nikkor 28-200 zoom lens, settings unknown. Image cropped, and adjusted with saturation, levels, and unsharp mask in Photoshop CS. Just a few steps away from the more famous "Wave" is this lovely formation, dubbed the "Second Wave".

Your lines and colors are wonderful. I find the brush at the bottom a bit distracting. That can easily be cured with some cloning. Peace, karen #2059014

Thanks Janine, Karen, Pat and Sharon for you complementary remarks. Karen, thanks especially for the critique; rather than clone out the vegetation, I may be able to find an image from a similar angle without the 'shubbery' to post. #2060201

Wow - I love these colors and textures in the sandstone. The waves add so much to the overall image. I would love to visit this place. This is gorgeous. #2430385
