This is marvelous, Nikki. The leading line of the road, the color pallet, the composition, and subject matter all destine this image for the winner's circle.

Thank you, Dale. I tried this once before with no luck. This is a fresh edit - started over from scratch and do think it's much better. The composition is the same as the first, but the tones and post processing are much more natural, I think. Hope you're right :) And thank you, John, for your comment. I enjoy your eye and do appreciate your support.

It is amazing (and always is to me) when two very similar photos are submitted at almost the precise same time. Did you see Denny's photo, posted just after yours? His was framed by heavy trees though. I'm not sure I've every seen that before.

Love the composition Nikki with the road leading right to the lighthouse and the fact the lighthouse looks like it's all by it's self! Almost looks like a country school house! #11009685
