Willamette Queen 1860
Description: In 1851 English photographer Frederick Scott Archer perfected a procedure using a smooth glass negative allowing for better, longer-lasting images, and the ability to make multiple prints from one negative. Glass plate negatives became one of the most common types of photographs. The technology was gradually replaced by film in the early 1900s.
Willamette Queen is located at Riverfront Park, Salem Oregon. OnOne Effects
