Description

The Highwaymen are a group of mainly Black artists who , In the 50s could not gain admission to galleries, so they set up their work along the main tourists highways in Florida. In the last 50 years their work has become recognized as an important movement in American art. Luck is a person who finds an old highwayman painting in a thrift shop or garage sale....these paintings now sell for thousands of dollars.
