Twyla's First Snow
Description: Twyla was found roaming the streets of Georgia where she was presumed to be feral. She was picked up and brought to a high-kill Georgia shelter. Someone from Brother Wolf Animal Shelter, a no-kill shelter in North Carolina, saw her and decided to give her a chance. After she was brought to Brother Wolf, I saw her on petfinder.com and fell for her. After many backings-and-forthing, Brother Wolf agreed to let me adopt despite the fact that I was so many miles away in Massachusetts. Twyla has blended beautifully into my family which consists of two other dogs. She is very fearful of people, but after fewer than 4 months with me, she has completed a puppy agility class and is now taking Foundations for Agility. She is bold on the equipment despite her timidity with people. My hope is that she will someday be an agility competitor. Meanwhile, I am enjoying her each and every day and loving her very very much.
