Very unusual capture of this much-photographed variety of spider (though I have never personally encountered one). It took me a very long glance to figure out that this is a garden fence and not a window. #10920166

He had a web on this fence and every time I tried to get close, he would run off the web and hide his face in the morning glory plants, so I stayed back and shot this with my Tamron 18-270 lens. Who would think a spider this size would be such a sissy? #10920174
