I think chickens get much less attention than they deserve. Having photographed many Grange and State Fairs, this is not an uncommon occurrence. My eldest stepson (now 55) lived in Ireland as a young boy. There are so many stories about him and his beloved pet chicken. She followed him around everywhere, and the two were constant cuddlers.
