Canal Foot Bridge
Uploaded: October 05, 2013
---
I took a walk along the Delaware Canal in our town (Yardley, PA) yesterday. Fall colors had not gone golden yet, so I'll be going back later on. But there were still some photo ops yesterday.
----
This is a red foot bridge, one of the few original red canal bridges (the canal was completed in 1832). Most have been rebuilt, but the original style and color has been maintained.

What a lovely place on your nature walk. You are surrounded by History. Something my area only has over 100 years of. :) A huge wind came here overnight and blew most of the leaves from our trees. Missed opportunity there? Likely...but I could go for macros of the ladybugs under the fallen leaves??? :DHAPPY FALL TO YOU! Great job here, Michelle.
