Train Windows

Uploaded: July 24, 2013

Description

On a recent trip to NC we saw this interesting train in N FL. The windows were oval, and there seemed to be no glass in them. Actually the mysterious train gave an illusion of only one wall...with no depth.

So when I actually could see close up on my computer screen, the trains that can be seen thru the windows gave it even more illusion of only one wall. lol

I haven't ever seen a train with oval windows like these before, have you?

Wow. No, I haven't. Ever...UNLESS....YES! I have it! This used to be an old carnival train and the windows were for the animals to put their heads out of it as the train slowly rolled into town. All the people would see the animals heads there and get exciting knowing the Carnival had come to them!!!

I bet this used to be painted green with gold trimmings!!! :D

What an awesome find! You did a great job capturing this totally unique image! I wonder what it is or was really for?

Bravo!

THANK YOU for your response... If I hadn't seen it for real, I would really think it was a wall stage scene. lol
