HELP "Six feet up "
Uploaded: July 14, 2013
This was the first bare bronc rider out at our 2013 Independence Day Rodeo. Unfortunately for him he had tied himself down too tight and could not get loose from his bronc. He was drug around the arena for quite a while before he finally got loose. The bronc stomped his legs in the process. I had to put down the camera, went to him, he could not stand, get the ambulance to take him to the hospital and Xray him. Fortunately I found out later the leg was not broken just severely bruised. I missed photographing the remainder of the bareback bronc riders but that is the nature of the game when you wear several hats. At least he was not six feet under. Doc A.

Hi Emile,Excellent capture my friend!!! #10767529Mitch Spence July 14, 2013
That's the kind of excitement you, and he, really could have done without, Emile. I too am happy to hear the damage wasn't even greater. That is a spectacular action shot, though, and I like it in these tones especially. #10767555Tammy M. Anderson July 14, 2013
Good you was there to help out. Excellent tones and action shot, Emile. #10767574Tiia Vissak July 14, 2013

Well, my friend, you wear many hats, indeed, and don't know where you find the time to wear them all. Awesome action shot, bro. Glad to hear the outcome was good, Emile.frank w. degenhardt July 15, 2013
They do take a beating at times. How they can even walk again is amazing. Stunning action shot with sharp details. Love the framing work and that touch of sepia. Beautifully done my friend. #10767823Michelle Alton July 15, 2013
Great work in both "hat" categories, Emile. I am particularly impressed, photo-wise, with the muscle definition as the bronco strains to lose his rider. #10767849Joy Rector July 15, 2013

Rodeo doctor, photographer and sponsor! WOW you are amazing. I am so glad the rider did not have permanent injuries! This was a good image for sepia. It could have been from an earlier time. #10773369Stan Kwasniowski March 31, 2015
