Wow, Kiki! I wonder how this sweet family "portrait" slipped past me last year!?! Once again, better late than you-know-what, and I'm glad to have caught up with it, finally. What's fascinating about this is : polar bears and grass?! No snow?? If you can explain this, please do! #11154803

Hi Mary. Thank you so much.
This is captured in a nature park here in Danmark.
The polar beasr are born in captivity and don't know ice.
I've been there many times, and seen how they love to lie, sleep and play in the glass field.
They also have a huge area with water.
And the reason they are brown/greay is also because they don't live on the ice.
We were there again yesterday, and one of the staff members told me that these bears once were given seal - they didn't like it and refused to eat it. #11156057
