We call these Bluebonnets in the Texas Hill Country which, as you probably know, is justifiably famous for them. I assume "lupines" is the correct genus or species name? #91142

As I know them up here, lupine, or actually the latin word 'lupinus' is correct. There are so many common names to flowers, it's often the case where the same blossom is called something different there vs. here. I wish I could get down there to see your 'bluebonnets' - I have seen pictures and it looks wonderful! One of these years.... #352306
