It's a small world Jeff. Never have tried this technique yet. Like the color pallet you have also. #1526467Kalena Randall May 02, 2013
How did you do this? Wow! #10678879Rita K. Connell May 02, 2013
Jeff this is awesome...I was just playing around with this the other day and couldn't find the right image. #10678901Arthur Bohlmann May 02, 2013

Ditto! So cool and how did you do it? #10678947Jeff E Jensen May 02, 2013
Thanks, everyone! These are fun to play around with, and like Rita said, you have to have the right image to make it work.I wrote about the process on my blog:

Mostly, once you have the basics down, you just need to fine tune the process.
Here's another image. #10678952

These are very good Jeff! I have played with the polar coordinates filter but have never achieved a nice result like you have in these shots. #10680536Jeff E Jensen May 03, 2013
Thanks, everyone!Mike - I think the trick I stumbled upon this time has made all the difference. As you know, these work best if you have an image that has a strong horizon. They work even better if the content on both edges of the frame is pretty similar. When I was messing with these the other night, I realized that the best way to get similar material on each edge of the image was to duplicate and flip the image. By doing that, you end up with the exact material on each edge s it lines up well. It also makes for some interesting elements in the images, having things repeat. when I get some time, I'm going to fiddle around with using multiple images. #10680562

Nothing to say other than, "Way cool." Thanks for the hints-the pics on the blog are awesome too. Now I have something to do NEXT winter! #10680705Susan Williams May 03, 2013
I really like all of these images, Jeff. They are more on the "Far Side" compared to mine and much more complex. Do you track your work flow or just play, play, play? #10680841Rita K. Connell May 03, 2013
I really love the disneyland one the best very cool indeed. #10680867Michael Kelly May 03, 2013
