Description

This rooster was just window shopping on Duval Street. Key West, FL.

Surprisingly, Key West has a considerable population of wild chickens. The roosters strut openly on busy streets much like pigeons would in northern cities. Locals have a love-hate relationship with them. They keep the bug population low, but the roosters have a bad sense of timing...often cock-a-doodle-doo'ing as early as 2am.
