I love the rich tones in this, Usman. I think an 8x10 crop, cutting out the bit of door on the left edge and coming down to the line in the ceiling would strengthen the image, focusing attention on the doors. #10654298Arthur Bohlmann April 15, 2013
Great composition and toneality..I agree with Jeff about cropping out the door on the left of this fine image. #10654430Kalena Randall April 15, 2013
The colors a deep and beautiful. But I agree with Jeff. Cropping out the door on the left and coming sown to the ceiling line might bring more impact. Sweet Shot, Usman! #10654592Stephen Shoff April 15, 2013
I like your composition with the "L" component in the ceiling, but I have to agree with the others -- cropping out the ceiling seems to simplify the composition and make it much stronger. #10655249Dale Hardin April 15, 2013
I like bold colors and strong graphic elements and this image has those in spades. Agree on the crop but think it would also benefit from perspective correction so that the floor line and bottom of the elevators are straight as well as the vertical perspective on the sides. #10655343Usman M. I prefer the second, with the line in the ceiling gone. #10655549Dale Hardin April 16, 2013
Nice editing job Usman and I prefer the second version also.It would be a bit more convenient if you embedded the images in the tread instead of just the URL that we need to cut and paste. Thanks. #10655757

Here late but I also like the edit on the second image. I think the rich color combination and the checkerboard effect of the floor are what make this an interesting shot. #10655897Beth Spencer April 16, 2013
I like your second edit the best. Great colors and lines #10656268Rita K. Connell April 16, 2013
I really like the second one also. but for me I think the noise level is a little high. but no one else has mentioned it. #10656369Stephen Shoff April 17, 2013
I noticed, Rita. Just didn't mention it, partly because I don't know if that might be part of a filter effect Usman had in mind. But as much because the slightly off-center problem Dale mentioned which I don't think can be corrected to Usman's typical standards of excellence, and the degraded quality of his cropped version had me questining whether additional effort was warranted. #10657169

I can't explain why, but doors fascinate me. I think it is wondering what is behind them and that gets my imagination working overtime.Debbie E. Payne April 20, 2013
I am in agreement with the others. The second one is best and definitely crop that smidgen of a door. Very unique! #10660397Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
