Retouched in PSCS - duplicated background layer, oversaturated, reduced 2nd layer opacity to 40%.

This is very striking! Maybe I should have put this in the Praise section inmstead of the Critique, because I really had NO criticism until I read your comment about the "DANGER" label. It is obviously important to your design and composition, but it is hardly visible. I had to search to find it.
I can also see this and your Cogs image as the foundation for a very interesting portfolio/gallery/show. #347987
