Downtown Sunset

Uploaded: February 07, 2013

Description

1/60s @ f/18, ISO 800, Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 @ 50mm.
Taken from the glassed-in observation area (230 feet up) of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument overlooking downtown Indianapolis just as the sun was setting.
Had to drop out of eagle shoot trip to Le Claire, Iowa due to illness :(. Took trip to the doctor for meds instead. Nasty bug.

Beautiful color and detail, Rona!!! Take care of yourself, friend!!! The numbers are low this year. You can check Rock Island Eagle Counts and see. They are more dispersed due to the water being open in a lot of places, not just the lock and dams. #10561052
