It was a chance meeting, as most wildlife photos are, and they ran on seeing my presence. It was a quick snap to capture the moment. I enjoy the photo much, but I enjoyed the moment in the woods even more.

It has been a long time.
How good to hear from you.
I have been following, a little, the summer in Australia. It seems it has not been a very good summer for at least parts of your country.
I hope it is better where you are at.
We have had a pleasant winter. The brrrrr cold weather did not arrive till late December and sporadic through January. It was very cold yesterday when this photo was snapped. You have to feel the animals living outdoors in it all the time.
